STARK COUNTY SWIMMING & DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS

LOCATION: Louisville Area YMCA 1421 South Nickelplate, Louisville, Ohio 44641. Diving TBA.

POOL: 25 meters by 6 lanes, Daktronics Timing System with digital scoreboard.

ELIGIBILITY: All entries are subject to the approval of the swim meet committee.

ENTRY LIMITATIONS: Swimmers may swim up to 6 events per day. All swimmers must compete in their age-group.

OPEN EVENTS: May be swum by any competitor of any age. Results will not be broken down into age groups as all swimmers in the Open events will be competing against everyone, regardless of age. Only distinction is there will be male and female events.

SEEDING & CHECK IN: Events will be pre-seeded except 400 Free, 800 Free and 1500 Free. There will be positive check-in for the 400/800.1500 Free. Check in sheet will be located at the scorer’s table and check in is required 30 minutes before the start of the event. Swimmers who do not check-in and then show up for the event will be allowed to swim only if space is available. New heats will not be created after the positive check-in time has passed.

MIXED RELAYS: May be swum in each age group and will be scored against the boy’s Relays and will scored as a mixed relay in the boy’s event for that relay. Mixed Relays will consist of 2 girls and 2 boys.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Entries, electronic or otherwise, must be received by July 3, 2026, by 8:00 pm. Send Payment to Stark County Swimming and Diving Championships, c/o R.J. Van Almen, 211 23^rd St NW Canton, Ohio 44709.

ENTRY FEES: Individual events ($7.50) and Relays ($30.00). Master swimmers may make a minimum ($25.00) donation to: Stark County Swimming and Diving Championships to swim unlimited events. There will be a $7.50 Athlete Surcharge. Entries may be made through Team Manager, Team Unify or submitted on the entry form included with this packet. Make checks payable to STARK COUNTY SWIMMING AND DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS.

DECK ENTRIES: Deck entries will be taken on a space available basis until 30 minutes prior to the start of the session and will be seeded as NT. Deck entries should sign up at the deck entry table in the athletic lobby. Costs for deck entries are $9.00 for individual events ($20.00 for diving) and $35.00 for Relays.

AGE GROUPS: The age groups for the swimmers are: 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-24.

AWARDS: Individual events for 18 and under, open events and diving will be awarded medals for places 1-6. Relay events and 19-24 age group events will be awarded medals for places 1-3. Swimmers 25 & Over will be considered Master and will be awarded a participation medal. Awards will be available at the awards pick up table after results for events are certified by Meet Director. All awards should be picked up at the meet. Awards will not be mailed out.

TEAM SUPERVISION: Teams who are entering swimmers but will not have a coach at the meet should arrange ahead of time for another coach to supervise their athletes. Swimmers without coach supervision must contact the Meet Director to be assigned to a coach on deck.

ADMISSION: $7.00 for spectators per session.

$3.00 for heat sheets per session.

NOTE: Only athletes entered in the meet, working coaches, officials and meet workers are allowed on deck. All other non-participants are expected to remain in the spectator areas.
