Hello, parents! I hope you're well this morning. I only have a couple reminders for this week.

-I know everyone was excited to get their orange Coach Jason caps this week, but at swim meets, the swimmers will still be required to wear LYBD caps. We encourage everyone to get their personalized blue team caps. I've found many caps after meets and practice is over and if it has the swimmers' name on it, it always makes its way back to its owner. You can find the caps on the Swimville site at the QR code on the attached letter. 

-Our meet against North Canton is this Saturday. Signups will close tomorrow, Thursday 11/5 at 9pm. Please put your athlete in two individual events. 

-The Louisville/North Canton meet will begin at 12pm this Saturday. Please have your swimmers at the Louisville pool by 10:45am because warms ups are at 11am. As soon as the meet lineup is available, I'll send it out. 

-We have another home meet next week on Wednesday, November 11th. That meet against Perry will begin at 5:30pm. Have your swimmers at the pool by 4:15pm and we'll hop in the water for warm ups at 4:30 (same as practice time). Event signups will open TOMORROW at 8am and they'll close Monday 11/9 at 9pm. Please get those in. I'll send another reminder this weekend. 

-I hung up each swimmers' goals on the practice white board. Not everyone gave me specific things to work on, but as we move through meet season, encourage your swimmer to think about ways they'd like to improve this year. This helps coaching staff too, because we know what they want to focus on. 

-With meet season underway, I just want to shout out everyone who makes our team so special. You and your swimmers and our amazing coaching staff are what makes the Louisville Blue Dolphins an awesome community to be a part of. Thanks for everything!
