Hello Dolphin Families,

It is hard to believe we are less than two weeks away from the start of our 2026–2027 Fall/Winter Swim Season! Our coaches are excited to get everyone back in the pool and are looking forward to another great season with our swimmers.

Here are a few important dates and reminders as we get ready to begin:

🐬 Parent Meetings

• Louisville YMCA: Wednesday, September 9 | 6:00–6:30 PM
• Alliance YMCA: Thursday, September 10 | 6:00–6:30 PM

We encourage all families to attend the parent meeting at their location. We will go over important information for the upcoming season and answer any questions you may have.

🏊 New Swimmer Testing
Do you know someone interested in joining the Dolphins this year? Please help us spread the word!

Swim testing for new swimmers will take place immediately following each parent meeting from 6:30–7:00 PM. Testing will help our coaches determine the appropriate practice group for each swimmer.

Returning swimmers do not need to participate in swim testing.

📝 Registration Is Open!
Registration for the Fall/Winter season is now open. Please make sure your swimmer is registered before the start of practices.

🏊♀️ Practices Begin September 14
Our first day of practice will be Monday, September 14.

📅 Swim Meet Schedule
I have also updated our schedule for the upcoming season. Most of our swim meets now have confirmed dates, so please take a few minutes to review the schedule and start planning for the season.
