Hi Team!,

We wanted to send some updates out for November and Sleighride Invitational in December! We have a busy season before the holidays hit, please make sure to take note of the following:

Team Picture Day:

When: Monday November 24th

Where: The pool deck at the Louisville YMCA

More: Please have swimmers wear team suits for the picture. Swimmers need to be on deck by 4pm! ALL swim groups will be in the picture. There will be a practice for all groups following pictures. 

Beg/Int.: Swimming after until 5:30pm

Advanced: Swimming after until 6pm.

Swim Meet @ Youngstown:

Start: 12:35 PM 

Warm-up: 12:00 PM

End: 4:35 PM (estimated)

• Swimmers Need to be on deck by 11:45am
• Warmups will be from 12-12:30pm
• Meet start is 12:35pm
• There are stands in which parents can sit. No parents are allowed on deck unless they are volunteering. The stands do get crowded during the relays at the start of the meet, so we ask parents to leave the stands when their swimmers are done swimming
• Please remind all your swimmers they must have shoes on to and from the pool area

Parking is located in the YMCA lot on Commerce street or the lot directly across the street of the Y lot on Commerce Street if our lot is full.

We ask that swimmers have their events written down on them before Warm ups. The heat sheet will be sent out within the next day so this can happen.

Holiday Practice Schedule:

The week of November 24th - 28th practice will only be on Monday the 24th and Tuesday the 25th. There will be no other practices that week to observe the holiday. Happy Thanksgiving! 

Sleighride Invitational:

Entries are now open for the Sleighride Invitational! They will close December 3rd at 1pm. Payment for the invitational will be collected from the card on file Monday Dec. 8th, unless prior arrangements are made beforehand. Team Caps:

All swim caps are in! Please pick up your custom and regular swim cap during practice time.
