Information Notice wk. of 10/20/25
Hi Team!
Just a few things that we want to get to you. First, all swimmers who attended the Rocktober Invitational did fantastic! It is a big swim meet and for it being one of the first official meets of the season swimmers still excelled at their events! Our team rocked it, and we are excited to see the ongoing progression of our team and swimmers as the season continues! 🎉🎉
Home Meet with Tusc.:
Please remember that RSVP for the Home meet this Saturday with Tusc will close this Wednesday 10/23 at 12:00pm. If you have any troubles or have questions, please reach out!
Also, if you have not already, please check the job postings for the swim meet to see if you are able to volunteer with any of the tasks needed. We cannot run swim meets without your help and support! 💪If you have questions about a certain job, please let us know.
Swimmers will need to be on deck by 11:45am for the swim meet! With the swim meet anticipated to start at 1:00pm. Start time is subject to change if needed. Swimmers will sit with the team on the pool deck. There will be bleacher seating for parents and families of both the participating teams.
Dryland:
Dryland Practice on Mondays will be postponed for now and swimmers will spend the whole practice time in the water. Wednesday dryland will still run at the scheduled time. We thank you for your patience while we tailor practices to what we see as a need for our swimmers!
Swim Equipment:
We are asking that by Wednesday of this week swimmers bring their hand paddles to practice with them. If they do not currently have a set, we will help by handing out some to borrow. You can also order a set of hand paddles from our team store! Please then make sure to bring hand paddles to every practice thereafter.
Swimmer Early Leave from Practice:
Starting next week on Monday October 27th, we ask if any swimmer needs to leave practice early that a note, email, or call is sent to us or to practice with the swimmer to give to the coach. We ask that physical notes are signed by the parent(s). The YMCA of Central Stark County and the Louisville Blue Dolphins Swim Team take our responsibility of managing the health and safety of our swimmers while they are under our watch seriously. We are sorry for any inconvenience, but the safety of our swimmers is not something we will waiver on. If there are comments or concerns, please reach out to Jason Taylor: Aquatic Director/ Head Coach at [email protected]
We thank you for your time and consideration on these topics! Let's keep having a great season!
