Hi Swim Families!,

We wanted to update you on an upcoming invitational and the Meet Schedule for the season. To see the times and dates of all invitationals and meets please see the Team Calendar tab on swimtopia. Please remember for the Fall season in order for swimmers to be eligible for the Division Meet they must attend 3 meets 2 of which have to be a duel meet.

Our inner squad meet: Friday October 10th

The Rocktober Invitational: Sunday October 19th

First Duel Meet with Tusc: Saturday October 25th

These 3 meets are open for RSVP. Please note that rsvp for all meets and invitationals close a few days before the meet. Other meets and invitationals will open for RSVP as they get closer. 

 Upcoming Rocktober Invitational:

Occurs: Sunday October 19th

Location: Ocasek Natatorium University of Akron, 402 Carroll St, Akron, Oh 44304

Please know that swimmers must swim each of the five events to be eligible for the overall Pentathlon awards. Swimmers must be able to swim all strokes. Swimmers may choose to swim less than the 5 events, but the entry fee will not be pro-rated. • 8 and under - 25 yards of each stroke plus a 50 yard free. • 9/10 and 11/12 - 50 yards of each stroke plus a 100 yard free. • 13 and over - 100 yards of each stroke plus a 50 yard free.

Cost: The total cost for each swimmer is $26.00. Payments for swimmers will be run using the card on file with the YMCA on Monday September 13th. 

Session 1 – 10/19/25- 13& over and 8 & under swimmers -Timed Finals - warm-ups will begin at 7:30 am for CFYN swimmers. All other teams will begin warm-ups at 8:15. The meet will begin at 9:00am. 

Session 2- 10/19/25- 9-12 year old swimmers, Warm-up times will be determined after entries have been received

Admissions: $7.00 (cash) $8.00 (credit/debit) ages 6 & older, Volunteers & swimmers are free. Parents from all competing teams are welcome to volunteer. Contact Becky [email protected] if you’d like to volunteer. 

Heat sheets: will be available for printing at no additional charge at www.cfyntigersharks.com by Saturday, October 18, 2025. A limited number of heat-sheets will be sold for $5.00 each.

PARKING: Parking is available lots adjacent to and across the street from the natatorium and at the parking garage at the corner of Carroll and Spicer Streets. Parking costs are set by the University and the host team does not profit from or control the parking policies. 

Results: Will be posted on the NEO YMCA League website & the Poseidon Championship series website
