Hi everyone! Here is some information about the invitational taking place next month. It is a really fun meet & we encourage all swimmers to participate if able!

Please mark your swimmer as attending and choose the events they would like to swim. You can drop a check off at the desk (to Louisville YMCA) or let us know if you want to use the card on file. If the coaches put relays together, the Y will cover that cost. Thanks!

STARK COUNTY SWIMMING & DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS

July 7th – July 9th, 2023

LOCATION: (Friday) Louisville Area YMCA - Warmup 4:10 PM/Start 5:00 PM

(Saturday & Sunday) Perry High School Natatorium, 3737 13th St SW, Massillon, OH.

Warmup 9:45am or 10:20am/Start 11:10am

POOL: 25 meters by 6 lanes, Daktronics Timing System with digital scoreboard.

ENTRY LIMITATIONS: Swimmers may swim up to 6 events per day. All swimmers must compete in their age-group.
OPEN EVENTS: May be swum by any competitor of any age. Results will not be broken down into age groups as all swimmers in the open events will be competing against everyone, regardless of age. Only distinction is there will be male and female events.

SEEDING & CHECK IN: Events will be pre-seeded except 400 Free, 800 Free and 1500 Free. There will be positive check-in for the 400/800.1500 Free. Check in sheet will be located at the scorer’s table and check in is required 30 minutes before the start of the event. Swimmers who do not check-in and then show up for the event will be allowed to swim only if space is available. New heats will not be created after the positive check-in time has passed.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Team Entries must be received by July 2, 2023 by 8:00 pm. Payment for the meet must be received by July 7, 2022 or entries may be deleted. 

ENTRY FEES: Individual events ($7.50). There will be a $5.00 Athlete Surcharge.

DECK ENTRIES: Deck entries will be taken on a space available basis until 30 minutes prior to the start of the session and will be seeded as NT. Deck entries should sign up at the deck entry table in the athletic lobby. Costs for deck entries are $9.00 for individual events ($20.00 for diving) and $30.00 for Relays.

AWARDS: Individual events for 18 and under, open events and diving will be awarded medals for places 1-6. Relay events and 19-24 age group events will be awarded medals for places 1-3. Swimmers 25 & Over will be considered Master and will be awarded a participation medal. Awards will be available at the awards pick up table after results for events are certified by Meet Director. All awards should be picked up at the meet. Awards will not be mailed out.
ADMISSION: $6.00 for spectators per session. $3.00 for heat sheets per session. 

NOTE: Only athletes entered in the meet, working coaches, officials and meet workers are allowed on deck. All other non-participants are expected to remain in the spectator areas.
